First Worn: San Diego Comic Con 2024
This was the brain child of pigsinpajamas, we all got together and decided on style and then sweatshop made them, she has a great write up on the whole process. I was mostly along for the ride! We used the Coco dress from Tilly and the Buttons, which Rachel had made more than once so we were able to try on her dresses and see what worked and found we were all about the same size with different proportions. Bodies are fun and weird.
The dresses themselves came together in one night of sewing, Rachel had 3D printed belt buckles which we fabric covered in the same night, and Jillian made our patches with puff paint, such talented people!
All in all it was exactly what we wanted, easy and comfortable.
The only real bummer was my giant feet meant I couldn’t wear matching shoes with the rest D:
